I use Excel on almost a daily basis. Very often after making a table we might need to make some changes in it. As our work on a table progresses, we might want to split cells to obtain new, multiple cells. There are at least a few ways you can do it. Choose whatever suits you the most:
• First, select a cell that you wish to divide. Right click it and select Split Cells from the menu.
• From the upper menu click Table and then Split Cells from the menu.
• Find Tables and Borders and then Split Cells. In all of the above mentioned cases, selecting Split Cells brings a few options to choose from like number of columns and rows that you wish to create in a single cells. After everything is done, click OK to finish the process. It is quite easy to get the hang out of it, but remember to keep practicing.
